This morning we woke up at the crack of dawn to practice with Tec de Monterrey University. Marnie and Erica have been working extensively with this team, and they will be one of the four teams entering our tournament next week. Our goal is to spend the time leading up to the tournament practicing with, scrimmaging against, and inviting the team to our outreach activities. We really want to interact get to know them. They are a competitive team and we had a blast practicing.
After a much needed nap, we headed over to UDLAP, the other university we work on, for a scrimmage.

These guys are fun to play with |
After practice we headed over to Casa Verde to watch the NBA finals and some of the players came over.
Amy shared her testimony with the girls.
And I shared the gospel with big thanks to Abbey for translating.

Using Jenga blocks as an illustration of God's creation. |
Naturally, Yost was snacking through the presentation. |
The shattered blocks represent the fall of man. I told the story from Genesis of Adam and Eve disobeying God. |

Long days are a good excuse to lay on the floor. |
Anyways, God is continuing to reveal to this team his plan and faithfulness concerning these Mexican athletes. To be a part of it has been one of the most gratifying and challenging opportunities I have come across and I'm loving every minute of it.
Love you guys,
Katie
